Best beach?

We are wanting to spend our first night in Florida at the ocean (as close to WDW as possible) and I'd love some opinions. I'm thinking about Cocoa Beach or maybe even Vero Beach, are there any others that might be better?

Depending on when you go and the weather, Daytona Beach is nice. We have been to Cocoa Beach, too, but it isn't as touristy as Daytona. Cocoa is the closest beach to Disney.
