Can anyone help me pick a new camera?

I am looking for one that I can truly point and shoot. I won't take it off automatic.

I would use it for indoor and outdoor pictures mainly of my kids and the dog. I don't print often but when I do, they are generally 4x6.

My 13 year old would use it and she does tend to move a bit which creates blurry pics.

I would like to keep it under $200.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I just bought a Nikon S210 for ~$150 for my DW and DDs to use. So far, we are happy with it. It has a slightly larger than average sensor so should control noise a little better. I have shot a few as high as ISO 800 that looked alright.

I would second ther Niko S210. It is a good camera for the price, well built and loaded with features. And to top it off Nikon just put an instant rebate on it of $30.00. They also have it in a kit form with a case and Nikons 2 yeasr extended warranty

For Value, IMO it is hard to beat the Panasonic LZ series. While not perfect no other cameras will give you OPTICAL image stablization and almost ULTRA ZOOM lens.

Buydig charges no tax or shipping, they currently have the

LZ3(refurb) @ $139, 5mp and 6x optical zoom
LZ8(new) @ $149, 8mp and 5x zoom plus a slightly larger lcd.

I have been very happy with Canon. Currently have the SD850 Elph. 8MP, 4X optical zoom. Very compact, fits in my pocket, takes great pictures.
