My hubby's Swiss Army backpack has finally kicked the bucket. What is the best back pack that isn't too bulky for my hubby to have for the trip? We have a two year old so he like to have a few diapers on him at all times. (Less than 5). He is never thinking about his back, but I am.... so a backpack what doesn't hurt his back as he seems almost attached to a backpack in WDW.

TIA!

Annie

I use a small backpack (purchased several years ago at Target) at WDW. I don't have the specifics, but do have some advice:

Whatever backpack you decide to bring, be sure to "fully load" it and wear it around the house for a little while before going on your trip. I had bought a backpack a while back, which was really comfortable when empty! But when I put in my park stuff (sweatshirt, sunscreen, water bottle, etc.), it was very uncomfortable (straps digging in, etc.). So glad I tried wearing it full, before taking the price tags off! I was able to return it and buy one that was much better.

(PS - I was just at Marshall's today and noticed they had several different types of backpacks, including Jansport brand, at good prices. You might try there!)

Great advice! Thanks so much!

You might want to look at LLBean. They have many different sizes and shapes, not cheap;but the quality is excellent.

Same with Eddie Bauer - we have an outlet store near our house and I have gotten some great deals there. The prices are better than the regular Eddie Bauer stores and I love their quality and attention to detail.
