So, I just googled 2008 calendar, I would guesstimate....if I were to plan a trip for Dec 2008, it would be Dec 9th -16th....

I like to travel tues to tues, airfare is so much cheaper..

I know where Hartwell, GA is...but I am no where near it I live in Fairburn...a small town just outside of Atl...We Lived in Savannah for 4 yrs & 2 of our kids were born their!!!

Sedesma pins are smaller (as most European pins use to be), a black metal, and painted -- rather than fake or real cloisonné.


They are legit Disney pins, but of lesser quality.

some cms will take them and some will not.

Did you see some on ebay? I might buy a couple, but would buy regulars one, too, just in case?

You don't want to get down there, just to have your kiddies or yourself be disappointed if you can't find any cms willing to trade with you.

I have a few relatives in Atlanta as well. I have not seen then since I was about 10.....20 years ago...

Savannah is gorgeous......My friends took us to see the park where the bench is that, Forest Gump sat on in the movie...so cool

I want to get the kiddies into the pins too... I'm a mission-oriented chick so it seems like it'd be right up my alley, er, I mean I think THEY'D like it - yea, that's it! My BIL (who is also a Diser and got me addicted to this site and is my personal-resident-Disney-expert-extraordinaire) told me that some CM's are only to trade pins with children and that they wear teal-colored lanyards.

I knew Sharky would get me the inside scoop...I have made a decesion & I am Not going to buy Sedesmas....even though we all Know Disneydad loves a deal & I could get 50 Sedesmas for $65...I have however made a Pin purcahse on ebay & will post that in my next Update ughh ....Tonight he says hoping that Sharky doesn't ask him when!!!

They do have Cast members that wear Green Lanyards (the Teal is Disneyland) & they will only trade with Kids!!!...& sometimes they have the best Pins!!! Just about all CM's now wear Lanyards to trade from (but not all) I just read that the CM's who will trade with anyone are wearing Blue Lanyards (last year they were Yellow)....
