I was at an interview for a bonafide job!!!!
UPDATE ON THAT SITUATION:
As y'all know, I'm still out of work and I've been having interview and interverw and interviews and nothing. But today I had a good interview and feel that this could finally be the one. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I really liked the woman who interviewed me and for whom I would be working should I get the job. My interview went well. The lady was real nice, said she likes to have fun at work and still get the job done.She said they all read and exchange books with each other as they all like the same authors and they are the same ones we like, lol. Some of the time, she said, they aren't busy so she doesn't care if they read and she hates to have them stay if it's that slow so sometimes she lets them take turns taking a Friday off for a long weekend. Also she decided to let her Dept take the Friday off after Thanksgiving as there's nothing happening anyway and she does the same with other holidays according to how they fall. so she sounds really fair. The interview itself lasted about a half hour but I was there 2 hours just shooting the bull with her. She said the job is fairly easy just wht has to get done has to get done and done right and she wants to hire ASAP, which is a really good sign for me. She said she'd call tomorrow or Thursday with her decison but gave me the "impression" she wanted to hire me. So lets' keep our fingers crossed, say a prayer, wave a chicken around your head three times and any other good luck or good voodoo type thing y'all can think of to do.She just has to go through the formality of the other resumes that were acceptable, but mine is the resume she liked as I have all the right experience and fit in personality wise. Pray there isn't one in the bunch that is better than mine!!!!

and this strange man tells me he is one of DDad's employees...........and asks me if DDad has a girlfriend? And I pop back yes........mind you I have never met this man.........and he says what is her name?...........in retrospect I should have given him a list...........but I say Sarah is her name..........he is almost speechless........and wants to know where she lives...........and I say Canada......he gets off the phone with me...........and DDad says if my wife is going to let me have a girlfriend.........of course she is in Canada!
