I had a walking stick in my hand. I bought it at one of the vendors as the grounds were all hilly and with my back being out all week it helped get me up those hills, lol.

So--the lady in Walmart was wrong about the BIG BIRD theory??I kept watching these big geese fly over and was wondering if my little birdies would catch a ride! Good advice about stopping the food though--this is my first summer in VA--and I wouldn't won't them to freeze here in the mountains.
I'm going to print out your recipe too--it's probably cheaper and they have run through a lot this summer. I have giant hostas near the feeders which I let bloom and it was fun seeing them buzz from the flowers to the feeders!
Maybe I'll start back filling up my other feeders soon. I had some pretty little gold finches in the spring.

You know us so well. I got the idea to do it and Sharky convinced me to actually make the call and helped me with the script. It was a family affair, hahaha! A joint effort. We had a blast doing it too!!!!
