Best and Cheapest option to get from WDW to Legoland?

We are flying down to WDW and will be spending 1 day at Legoland. What is the easiest, best, and cheapest option for us to get from WDW to Legoland and back?
I heard there might be a shuttle from WDW to Legoland but I am not sure if that is a rumor because I can not find anything about it.

Legoland is not even open yet so not aware of any shuttles that might ultimately exist. Your best bet is a 1-day car rental and just drive there; about 45-minutes each way. Keep in mind that a 1-day rental is good for 24 hours from the time you rent the car, giving you some flexibility in returning it. There are numerous car rental facilities on Disney property.

Plan on renting a car. It will give you the most flexibility.

A spokesman for Legoland in an online article (Orlando Sentinel?) said they're planning on having a shuttle. We have no idea of the cost, schedule or pickup locations. It's possible guests using will have to find their own way to a pickup location.

I'm not going to take the time to attempt to locate a link since no definitive information was provided.
