I have been looking around and the best price I have found is either Mears Shuttle for $84 or one of the town car services for around $85-90 round trip. It's for 3 adults & a 2 yr old. Do any of you have recommendations? I assume a shuttle is more time consuming? What is better and do you know of anywhere that has good service and prices? Thanks!

If you go w/ the towncar service, you can make a grocery stop for snacks, etc, that would moe than offset the extra cost. plus it would be way faster tahn the shuttle because the shuttle has to wait until it's full. The towncar is just for you!

I believe FL Tours is a sponsor here and has a good reputation. Others I've heard good about are Tiffany Towncar Svc and Happy Limo.

Isn't WL a MK resort? If so, it costs more than non-MK resorts because the driver has to pay the toll fee.

EDIT: after I posted this, I saw a banner for FL Tours. Keep an eye out for it. It said you could get online discount coupons.

I forgot about the grocery store stop...that would be AWESOME! I read on allears.net that they will stop by Publix or Albertson's? Anyone know which is better for pricing? Thanks!

Oh, and also, can I pay for this in advance on my credit card? I know it says you pay the driver after you get to the hotel, but I'd like to put it on my DV, every little bit helps for those Disney Dollars ;)

We are trying MH Transportation with a town car this trip. They have had really good recommendations from people who we knew went. I wanted to use FLtours but they were much higher priced. I am always for helping out sponsers, however we needed to watch our budget this trip. Maybe next trip we can use FLtours.

Tiffiany Towncar rt to Polynesian cost us $70. That included a 30 minute grocery stop. They also have an online coupon for $5.

I'm looking for more reviews on MH transportation. Their service sounds awesome, but they don't show pics of the cars, etc. Not sure if I like that much. Tiffany towncar has had mixed reviews, so I'm not sure. I'm leaning more toward Happy Limo just because tip and everything is included....

Oh, are there taxes that are added onto the totals? Or is it just the advertised price plus tip? Thanks!

We used Tiffany in August and thought the sevice was excellent! It was $80 to POR, but we had a passporter with a coupon for $8.00 off. There was no additional tax and we just tipped the driver extra for carrying our luggage, making the grocery stop (it's his job, but we still appreciated it) and giving us lots of information about what we were seeing during the drive.

We recommend Tiffany to anybody who will listen to us. Have fun!

My only problem with fl tours is that they do not accept credit cards, and i was told, so i am not sure if this is true but i was told they do not own their cars, they contract out to other drivers and that would cause me to worry because, i don't want to be left stranded. Again i have no idea if that is factual information but i know they do not accept credit cards. So all i can suggest it take the numbers for all the comapnies and if the first trans. is not good cancel the return and book elsewhere.

Thumbs up for Tiffany Town Car. We used them last trip and will use them again this trip. They are $80 rt to POR and there is a $5 coupon on their website www.tiffanytowncar.com

Last time we had 3 adults and 2 children and they gave us a van instead of a towncar for the same $$. This time we will only have 2 adults, 2 kids so I think a towncar will be big enough.

They also have nice, clean and newer car seats for the little ones who require them, at no cost.

Oh, and the grocery stop is a great help...we were in the store longer than 30 min...the driver told us to take our time!

Have a fun trip!

I was going to use FL towncars, but then had a change of plans. I called to reschedule (before our trip). Well, I just got an answering machine. I left a message which wasn't answered until the next day. I then called Tiffiany Towncars (at 3 am) and a "live" person answered. Well, think about what if you needed to make a change of plans while on your trip? You don't want to get an answering machine while in your hotel room, or in the airport. Actually, we did have a change of plans while on our trip and they answered the phone at midnight. Try actually calling whatever towncar service you are thinking of using, even if you make the reservation online. Find out what type of customer support you'd get via phone while on your trip. You want a service that answers their phone!

We used Prestige Town Cars in September and they were great! $80 round trip to WL!!

We have used Tiffany many times. Highly recommend them. We have always had someone waiting for us even when the plane was 30 min. early. Nice clean cars and pleasant drivers every time.

I'd do a towencar. Mears may have you making several stops, the towncar will be just for your group, and if you need a grocry stop, a lot of time they build them in.

We have used Tiffany Towncars in the past and been very pleased.

Definately take a Town Car! We personally used Happy Limo and had a great experience. Don't ever use Mears unless its for 1 or 2 adults. :sunny:
