Best airline or travel company?

Hi Everyone!
I am not Canadian, however, I live RIGHT by the Canadian border. One of my dear friends is wanting to start looking into a trip to Disneyland. As I am not too familiar with how travel works in Canada, I would love any suggestions of where to start. She will be flying out of Smithers, BC. I appreciate any hints or help

I live in Vancouver, so I fly out of Seattle for cheaper flights. I watch fares on Kayak.com to see if anyone is having a seat sale, and put in alerts.

Yikes! I think her biggest challenge will be getting out of Smithers, with it's isolation. I know Hawkair flies out of there and maybe Air Canada. Have dealt with both but don't have any tips. Sorry. Good luck to your friend.

A quick look at the Smithers airport shows several flights per day to Vancouver. From Vancouver she could choose to book a direct flight to LA or she could arrange ground transpo to SEATAC and fly out of there. That's one LOOONGG trip.

It looks like West Jet with a seat sale out of Prince George might be the best deal. I see a flight from there for July for a good price.
Its going to be way more expensive to do a smaller airline out of smithers IMO.
