Best Airboat/Gator experience?

ok - we took a "Captain John's" Airboat tour a few years back. it was pretty far away in a lower portion of the St. John river. about 45 min from WDW and about 15 min from NASA. it was truely a full nature experience and it didn't feel overly touristy.....however, our captain didn't give us the "tour guide" full monty and fill us with facts and "did ya know" type info thru the trip. his lack of interaction with us on the tour left us a bit put off. (he was on his cell phone everytime the boat stopped - he would point to something for us to look at then flip open that cell and chat it up with a friend or someone from the office - lining up another tour.

We would love to take another ride and actually have a very intentive guide who teaches us something about Florida wildlife or history.

any suggestions?
