We would like to plan a week in Florida to go see the space centre and go to Disneyworld. We are not renting a vehicle. What are some hotels that you know of, that would be affordable off site and accomodate travel to both of these?

or something close to disneyworld and ubber to the space centre?

Transportation to Kennedy Space Center from Orlando is not going to be inexpensive, especially if more than a couple people. There are several bus/shuttle companies with standard pickup locations. I would explore your options there and assuming you will do Disney a few days find a lower priced hotel close there and use shuttle or uber.

It's 70 miles from Disney to the space center. Instead of Uber, I suggest looking at a tour bus service that will take you from the theme park area to the space center. For example, Gray Line. Some of these tours are package deals that include tickets.

As for where to stay, you need to set a realistic budget and include the money you will spend on Ubers and shuttles to get to the parks. The Disney Springs hotels are the closest properties. After that, the Palm Parkway and Flamingo Crossing hotels are fairly close, but will require you to spend a good bit on transportation. Some have free breakfast that can help you save some money.

You really need to set a budget to help determine how we can help you. "Affordable" can mean a lot of different things to different people.

Thank you so much for all this info. I didn't realize they were that far apart. Super grateful for all your info. I will look online to gage what prices are available to have a better understanding on how much money we need. Thank you so much <3

The space center is a great place to visit if you can make it work!

The Space Center is about an hour away from Orlando. I would pick a hotel with a good location to Disney World and either rent a car for one day or book a car to drive you out to the Space Center.

If you're not looking at Disney World hotels, try the Swan and Dolphin. They are walking distance to Epcot and include bus transportation to the other parks.

We've done Kennedy and it is totally worth it but I wouldn't do it without renting a car myself. If you are going to be there a week what is the split you are looking to do? 6 days at WDW and 1 at Kennedy? If you do Kennedy would you want to be back in Orlando the same day?

I would leave Orlando early on the day you want to do Kennedy and then stay the night out in that area before returning the next morning to Orlando. There are a lot of hotels along the route so go with whatever fits your definition of "affordable".
