Best advice for smaller family

Hi everyone!

Admittedly, we usually stay onsite. We (2 adults, 1 teen) get great deals as both FL residents and PAP holders. Our next trip is scheduled for August (1st week) and if I could get a good deal, I might be able to persuade the teen to consider staying offsite. I have AKL right now for $144 (standard) - 4 nights.

I have no clue where to begin. We don't need as much space as most families - a 1 bedroom could easily work if there was a pull out sofa. I would love to have a kitchen. We plan to hit the water parks hard this trip as well as our favorites - IKEA, Haines City warehouse, and Whole Foods.

If I could somehow get an offsite condo for about $600 for maybe six nights rather than four, we might consider it.

Any help appreciated.

Have you checked the Annual Pass rates for a Fort Wilderness cabin? There is a new pool area that looks great:

Also, Sheraton Vistana Villages has some pretty good rates on 1 bedrooms. They are around $99 a night if you book direct on their website with the no housekeeping rate.

I'm still new at this, but if there's availability I think you would definitely be able to get a 1 or 2 bedroom condo for that price. vrbo.com is the site frequently recommended on here.

We usually stay onsite too, but have a few off site hotels we like to stay at. First is the Hyatt Grand Cypress. We also enjoy the Marriott Village that has a Courtyard, SpringHill Suites, and Fairfield Inn, which are all nice hotels. Of course, the JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton are both very nice, but just a short bit further than the others. Let me know if I can help anymore.
