I'd love to try watching Wishes from the Poly beach this time around, just for something different. Just trying to get an idea what time to plan dinner and then have enough time to get a decent spot on the beach. How much time should we allow for dinner? We've never eaten at 'Ohana. Any thoughts? :goodvibes

Hi!!

We had an 8:15 reservation there this past december.... We were seated within 10 minutes, BUT, we were still on dessert by the time the fireworks started.....We probably could have ate faster, and made it outside, but it was COLD  Therefore, we hung around until after fireworks.

This may when we go, fireworks are at 9..... The only reservation I could get was 9:30...So, we will take our pre-dinner drink down to the beach, and then go to eat afterwards.....It is either that, OR eat early...

It depends on what time of year you will be there. If you eat earlier, around 7ish, you can usually make it to Wishes at the Poly beach. It all depends when you will be there. Another option for better seating is to see Wishes first then eat. Just depends on your needs.

The beach tends to be busy. They pipe in the music from Wishes to the speakers on and near the beach. Great viewing - keep in mind you are at a distance.
