HI

we are doing the eastern 7 day cruise on the Magic. We are getting adjoining (connecting) category 8 Oceanview staterooms. We have 3 boys, 15,8,5 years-old.

Which deck to request (there are only a few adjoining cat 8 rooms on decks 5,6, or 7)?

any to avoid?

i know the clubs for the 2 little ones are on deck 5 (but more noise?)

are any of these adjoining pairs near laundry ( i heard avoid being near laundry because of hotter rooms)

thanks so much,

stu

Welcome to the Cruise Board, Stu! :)

Any of the three decks you mention would be perfectly fine, and all are equally convenient. The Cat. 8s are all far forward and nowhere near any laundry facilities. They are all quiet. :)

Just FYI, there are no connecting Cat. 8s on Deck 5, only on Deck 6 and 7.

No, those are just demarkations of the room layout. :) For adjoiners you need those little triangles pointing towards each other like they show on 5022 and 5024, and 5522 and 5524. That means the rooms have a connecting door. :)
