A few years ago, we learned a trick for someone while waiting for a Minnievan during
MNSSHP and that is to order it while walking out of MK.
We ended up using this trick on our last trip sorry for being off topic.
A few weeks ago it was check out day and in the process of packing up, I had DS switch from the Air mattress to the bed so that it could get packed into the owners locker. I was expecting some resistance but instead I got "Cat tail! Cat tail! We didn't get my Cat Tail!"
Being that it was so hot we had not planned on going to the parks and just hanging out at the pool after checking out.
DS is ASD L3 so I knew this would need to be addressed or we would have meltdowns the entire day and our flight wasn't until 8:30 that night.
I informed my SO that the 2 of us were headed to MK to get a cat tail and to continue working on packing.
I ordered a MinnieVan from BWV and walked to the lobby and waited about 4 minutes.
Since it was still early I asked DS if he wanted to do Space Mountain since we were there already there and he said yes.
We grabbed a photopass photo of DS and I in front of the castle and then headed to Space Mountain.
We got on Space Mountain quickly as our
DAS return time was already available.
When we got in the launch tunnel my Magic Band flew off.
When we were finished DS jumped out of the rocket and ran to scan our ride photo.
We didn't realize until we were at the gift shop that DS left his iPhone in the pouch of the rocket.
We then went back to the entrance and they were able to get his phone after about 20-30 minutes.
We then walked over to the Cheshire Cafe. As soon as DS had the cattail in hand I ordered the MinnieVan to get back to BWV. By the time we were at the place for MinnieVan pickup we only had about an 8 minute wait for ours to arrive.
We ended up getting back at 10:20 so we hurried up and finished packing and called BS to store our luggage.
This was the most stressful and costly Cat Tail ever with 2 Minnie Vans but I knew we would never make it in time with Disney busses!! I'm glad someone told me about ordering them while in the park though as it certainly saved us time.
On another note Lost and Found came through and my
DVC Magicband arrived at home a few days ago.
