Beside the official Disney site, what was the first Disney site you went to online?

Long before I found the DIS I used to go to one by a guy called Brian Bennett. This was a good five years ago. He had reviews and trip reports on his too. His was one of the very first ones I went to and read regularly. Don't know if it is still around or not. Then I found Deb's site and one that had a lot of different sites just listed. I think it was TULIP or something like that. I found the DIS from Deb's site. I was a lurker for a very very long time. I think there were only one or two boards when I first came here. I also used to visit Rita Aero's site and I don't think this other one was Rita's but it might of been. I went in and there were different Disney rooms like in a house type setting. I haven't been to any of the otheres though in such a long time since I found the DIS boards. you guys are my family now. I just wondered what some of your earlier boards were.

The DIS back when there was only one board and then Deb's sight. I also went laughing place and then there was another one that I can't remember the name of it.....I still go to Debs sometimes but I usually just stay here with my family!

The DIS was my first site. And even though I try out other Disney forums just to see what they're like I always come back here. This is the nicest forum I visit. On another board I actually got flamed for asking a simple, yes or no, non-offensive question that turned into a 6 page thread. Serves me right for straying. ;)

I came here from Rita Aero's site...they used to talk about the large site with all the bickering, this was about 3 years ago....been here ever since! :)

Venture to very few other Disney sites other than Deb's now.

But I stayed with the DIS....its my "home" now!;) I was a member of the Passporter site, and 2 others, which I cannot remember right now, I guess one was Deb Wills, I am not sure. When this board made some 'new" adjustments, I stayed with it.:p I have been a member for 2 years now!:o

I couldn't tell you what the first Disney website I went to was, but I do know that this was the first place (and really only place) I went for discussion boards like this. I found this place sometime way back nearly 4 years ago. After this place I found a few others with discussion boards but I kept coming back here... and here I am to stay :)

I think I would have to say Brian Bennett's, which is now called Mouseplanet and Deb's. I have never particpated on any other boards, other than the DIS. I still use WDWMagic, Deb's and Intercot for their great content, and now and then, Laughingplace, Mouseplanet, and Passporter, for just looking at new things.

I started by reading Deb Wills' site. That's where I found the priority seating calculator that lead me to the DIS. I still visit there for information. I visit Laughing Place for photos of the resorts and MousePlanet for information. But I get most of my information from the DIS. It's the only Disney forum I belong to and the only one I want to belong to. :)

Mouse planet and Mousesavers but this is my first disscusion board I have ever been a part of, I think I will just stick to it here:D

The DIS, well wdwinfo.com . Then I found the boards. Although it took me an extra 9 months to find the CB.

I can't remember which guide book i bought that had a listing of all the web sites. I checked them all out, and I'm so glad I found the CB here!

If memory serves it was a site with "insider" tips by Birnbaum, the author of the official guide. I believe it was way way back, I believe before Disney even had a site. I remember looking for information planning our trip the year "the lights went out" on the MSEP at Disneyland (96?)

The first Disney site I found was Intercot. I still check them out once in a while, but the Dis is the best.

My first was the rec.arts.disney.parks newsgroup. I learned tons there as far as info on WDW, but it didn't seem to be as tight-knit a community as it is here, I'm so glad I found DIS!!!
