Our house bleeds black and orange and no I'm not outraged. Mike Brown is the problem. Period. With him there Marvin Lewis is the best we could do. No way would we get a Gruden, Cowher or any other top of the line coach. Brown would never give them the power that they would want or deserve. We had gone 15 years without a winning record before Lewis. He's taken us to 2 division titles. I don't think he is the problem.
As far as Palmer goes I'm not quite ready to send him down the river with no oars just yet. While he is most definitely not the QB he was before the blown knee, he also hasn't had an easy street. Our OL struggles and 85 is more interested in being a celeb then running routes. Not to mention the hole Chris Henry left. I can't even begin to describe my disappointment with this season. But we completely got away from what allowed us to sweep the division last year, running the ball. Too much emphasis was placed on TO and Palmer tried to force the ball too many times.
Ochocinco and Owens both need to go, no doubt. But I think we'd benefit most by seeing Bratkowski gone. Besides Brown he is our biggest problem. High school and predictable play calling just doesn't cut it in the NFL. But since Brown is loyal (and cheap!) to a fault he's not going anywhere.
Call me a hopeless optimist but I have hope in our young receivers. We had a great draft in 2010.

Am I crazy? DH keeps laughing at me, since he was the one that told me and I've been screaming to fire Marvin Lewis for months. But he's also probably laughing since his team is going to the playoffs again, and my team hasn't been to a playoff game or won a playoff game in years.
We went to the playoffs last season. I froze my butt off watching them self destruct at Paul Brown Stadium.

Ochocinco is still a great receiver. No one can make a catch in traffic like he does. Watch him in slo-mo, he has the best mechanics of ANY player in the game today. I dont think he's a hotdog, he just loves playing the game. If he was on a winning team, he would be Hall Of Fame Material.
I used to love 85, especially when he was still Chad Johnson. I have lost some respect for him over the last 2 seasons. I feel like if he put in the effort to run routes with his QB that he puts into becoming a celebrity (and whining) he'd be HOF material.
I know, I know, I'm drinking the kool aid!

Like I've said for
years our time will come and it will be sweet.
