Well, the only benefit I take advantage of is the fact that it helps to rack up my Disney rewards. For the last several years I have managed to accumulate enough rewards throughout the year to buy all our souvineers on our annual trip to the park.

I use mine only to pay for my package. The point return (1%) is much lower than my AMEX, but I can keep the money in a high interest savings account for six months and get another 5% on it.

Cardmember-exclusive Character Meet 'N' Greet Event takes place at Seasons of the Vine in Disney's California Adventure® Park (Golden State District).
Must present a valid Disney Rewards Visa Card for admission (limited to 6 people per card).
Begins when the park opens and runs for 90 minutes.
Each Cardmember group will receive one complimentary 5x7 group photo with Disney characters; additional photos will be available for purchase.
