i have looked and looked..and can someone give me the fast rundown..of what the benefits of having an ap are...PLEASE...

ok so aps give you no priveleges as far as discounts on food or merchandise....what about all this ap discounts i hear on rooms...can someone explain that to me..please..

Aps do give you discounts on food and merchandise you by at the World of Disney in Downtown Disney, in 2004 anyway.

There are select restaurants that you receive a 10% discount on lunches M-F.

As for room discounts that is a benefit but NOT guaranteed. They may or may not offer them for certain resorts during certain times of the year. If you look at www.mousesavers.com and click on Disney resorts you can see the current rates for discounts they have out.

oh thanks..i was getting confused...cause with the different aps..it looked as though one got some benefits and the other didnt..thank you for your reply...

I have already purchased AP's for both myself and my DH with high hopes of getting the room discounts everyone talks about. I'm sure it's true that you may not get an AP discount but most people will tell you that they do end up getting them. I think as long as you get right on the phone the day they come out you should get them. And if not, they say to call every day at different times because someone always cancels so they become available again. I had already booked at rack rates and paid in full, so when the rates come out and I apply them I will be credited the savings on my room card in which will give me some spending money to start off with. Also, the AP's will get you discounts on merchandise at DTD and discounts at quite a few different restaurants around the world. You will also get discounts off boat rentals, golfing and tours etc. We will be staying for 10 nights so I'm sure it will benefit us and I also plan on going for a few nights early next Dec. so it will be a savings for us. I think they can be well worth buying.
