Belz or Premium????

I am going on Thursday (!!!!) so just a couple of last minute questions and help please.

Don't know how much free time we will have for shopping although will definitely do some. If I only manage to get to one shopping mall, which one should it be?? We're staying on I-Drive, no car.

Looking probably clothes for me and DH, plus DD15 and DD11.

Grateful for any suggestions.

Premium. Last time we went to Belz many outlets were shut. Belz is also spread over two or three separate malls and can be risky trying to cross the road from one to the other! Premium has pretty much everything there - Nike, Disney, Universal, Banana Republic, Van Heusen etc. The only thing I don't think was there was a Gap however there is one of those at the LBV factory outlets. There was a nice food court in the centre of the mall so we could all eat whatever without someone having to compromise

Hi, I love going to both, but found Beltz very disappointing last time as a lot of it was empty and very samey, but worth looking in the Disney discount shops. Premium is good and more modern so if you only do one i would say Premium. Have a good time....

I would definitely pick premium.

Belz used to be ok but is now starting to show it's age. I know they have started renovation process in parts of the mall.

The only reason I go to Belz is for Gap.

Yes it is the one with the Burberry shop.

Never been to Belz - because of the views of others on the boards - but love Premium Outlet Mall. My favourite has to be Florida Mall though. Not an outlet - but you can get some very good deals, especially during sales, and they have all the stores you could want.

Went to LBV outlet in April. Truly awful. A load of tat.

With girls of that age if you see a World of Denim outlet ( there are quite a few dotted about) I would say that's worth a quick 30-40 minutes visit. My two girls manage to find a lot of the designer jeans, shorts, jackets, shirts and tops that their age group go for all under one roof here. If you can manage to nail them to the "clearance" racks you can get some really good bargains as well

My vote goes to the Premium outlet mall as well

Is the Disney Store at Premium discounted like the ones at Belz?

Yes it is, but I tend to find that each store could have very different things. The one at Belz seems bigger to me that the one Prem. I love to visit them all! There is also another cheaper Disney store it is on the 535(?) The road that goes from the Crossroads to Publix on the 192. I am sorry Ican't remember the name, but they discounted even more than the outlets.

That is why I love going to all the character warehouses in the Outlet Mall's. Everyone seems to have something different.

We always pay a visit to both - but I think Premium Outlets is slightly better - better layout anyway. We found that Premium Outlets was absolutely packed at the weekend - so maybe better go during the week!

I would agreed with everyone else Premium. But if you can spare a couple of hours try the Florida Mall - its excellent.

We have not been to Belz for a couple of years, do not really rate it anymore as most shops are names we have never heard of.
The one exception being the 'Fossil' shop were we have always found a bargain or two. Me watches and the wife purses and handbags!

Premium Outlets is much better - however, it can be a bit hit and miss regards bargains, depends on what you are looking for , to be honest we have been a few times but I have never bought anything.

Outlet shops can offer good bargains but basically are selling off the stuff that they are struggling to get rid of so some of the stock (if not all of it) is not worth having, PO does have the designer names such as Armani, Hugo Boss etc but have never been in one of these stores and always have the impression that nobody else has either - sales assistants just waiting to pounce.

Not part of your question but Florida Mall and to a degree the Mall At Millenia are miles better.

Didn't like either of them actually. They're both outside (which was bad as it was damn hot) and all the shops remind me of TK-Maxx and other chav shops.

Mall at Millennia was the only one I liked. Some good bargains to be had in the department stores (Bloomingdales, Macys and Neimann Marcus). Like the 4 pairs of Dockers I got for $100.
