Going to SeaWorld and Universal in 17 days!!

Got a season pass for SeaWorld.

For almost the same price we can either do the Beluga Experience or a day at Discovery Cove.

I can only budget for one of them, we plan on coming back at least one more time in 2014.

I'd really like to do Discovery Cove but I'm afraid of the cooler weather, I just can't see my family enjoying it IF it's to chilly. I've read about the wet suits and heaters but......

What would you do??

Thanks!!

For me, hands down the beluga interaction. I have done both. discovery cove is nice and the actual amount of time you get with the dolphin is about the same as the beluga. The beluga experience is a lot more personal. Only 2 people per trainer. They split the group into 2 and 2 and usually work with 2 belugas.

The only way I would choose Discovery Cove over the Beluga experience is if you really want to swim all day.

I would absolutely do Discovery Cove :thumbsup2 . There really is nowhere else like it in Orlando.

I wouldn't fret about the potential cold weather. We went on January 1st, 2012 for our first time and had a blast. Some of the water areas are super warm (think bathwater temps) and there are stand-up heaters where you can warm up and dry off when needed. The wetsuits also help keep you comfortable when the outside temperatures are lower. And you know, you might get lucky and have a spectacularly warm and sunny day......one of the nice things about winter in Orlando is that you might just get some summer-like weather!

DC is just such a wonderful, relaxing, pampering day that I think it should be a part of EVERY vacation :goodvibes . If the cost were the same, I would book DC without a second thought.

When comparing costs, remember, too, that your breakfast, lunch, all snacks, all drinks (including alcohol), a family photo, and parking are all included in your DC day admission.
