We are all spending a wonderful snow day off watching the inauguration today. We got about 2-3 inches of snow yesterday, a little melted, then another couples inches last night, so we are out of school!
Even DH took the day off (very hard to maneuver our vending trucks on icy streets). I am actually glad that school is out because I had planned on picking Olivia up for lunch early to let her come home and watch the innauguration. I just think it is such a momentous occasion that I want her to remember seeing it, even if she doesn't understand the importance until later. I told her this last night, and she said "How old will I be when I understand it?"
And to also pay homage to the wonder of brandy milk punch:
A "Punchy" Limerick
There once was a girl from Stinktown
Who in order for her sorrows to drown,
Mixed mixed milk, sugar and brandy
And declared it quite dandy.
But she drank too much and promptly fell down!
Cheers, y'all! Have a great day!
