Belly Up to the Bar With Bendy and Her Friendies!!! Button Pics & New Thread Started!

Congratulations on the new car :thumbsup2 I've never had them and they would be nice since my convertible is like an ice box in the winter. Good thing for remote starters and remembering to leave the heat or defroster on!

Great ADRs!

Are Sweet Sunday's worth it? I was thinking of the one on the 18th before I go home.

Like most F&W events I think the "worth it" is hard to determine on a broad basis ... it really depends on your individual experience. I thought the French Lunch we did at Bistro last year was worth it, but others who didn't have as good an experience as Jay and I did would disagree with my assessment.

I thought the last Sweet Sunday we attended was worth it even though we had seating issues. The buffet was good and the desserts were varied, generous, and just really tasty!

So in conclusion ... we enjoyed it enough to consider possibly giving it a try one more time.

did that help at all? :confused3:lmao:

It's dark blue with gray interior ... the color I really wanted was similiar to platinum but they only had it in 2WD and I wanted 4WD just because the weather around here is so goofy.

I'll post a picture later this weekend. I love the way it drives!

Mine is the light glacier blue with gray interior! About those heated seats, which we rarely have use for down here.....one day I was leaving work and thought I was having hot flashes, but they were different as they were originating in my butt. It took a few minutes of these strange flashes for me to realize I had hit the seat heater button....

Thanks. I'm just trying to decide if I want to have to be somewhere since I have to check out that morning and I was hoping to spend some time at the pool before heading into the parks before returning home.

I'll keep it in mind :lmao:

Kathy, that happens to me all the time in my husband's car....because I am short and his seat is very high up, I brush against the button when I climb in, and then will start to wonder why I am getting so hot!:rotfl:

Elin, I just tried to make a new reservation on-line and it still doesn't recognize my plus-10 ... it's 6:58 AM here in the Central Time Zone so I think there must something wrong with the system this morning.

I guess if I don't have to worry about car trouble I'll have to deal with ADR trouble.

That is just so odd! I had absolutely no problem. I wonder what the heck is going on??

We are going to see Harry Potter tonight! :teeth: And dinner will be at a new Irish Pub here in town. :yay:

I thank you all graciously for your help over on the PC thread...

It appears I've pushed a few :snooty: out of place and they are a bit upset that they have been invaded by some rum swilling pirate: (for real...) (they've declared it not funny anymore and I will back away from the race and just post until I'm well beyond 10,000 and let it go...) I've blamed it on the summer heat (that apparently will NEVER get to MY house this summer) and the fact that it is Thursday and they really don't start imbibing until Friday... :rotfl:

So I thank you all again & will let you know when I get to 10,000... :thumbsup2

& hey..

Have a Magical Day...

Oh my goodness Michelle - those :snooty: People need a drink!
All this should be fun ..

:dance3: see

It's funny how heated seats went from a luxury to a "have to have" in just a few short years. :lmao: There's nothing better than walking out of the office in January when the temps are in the teens and getting into a car that can give you hot cross buns! :rotfl2:

I know how you feel about heated seats! I bought my new car out of necessity last July (coming up on my 1 year car anniversary), and I love my Hyundai Sonata Limited. It's got all the bells and whistles except the GPS. I didn't want it. But it does have those heated seats. :cloud9: They came in handy during some of those below zero days!

I already changed one thing ... but I was able to do this online ...

I dropped Kona for our first night and booked Coral Reef instead. I know that Coral Reef gets some bad reviews but we did have a really good F&W pairing there a couple of years ago and I think that as long as we go in with more of Red Lobster mentality (and I'm not knocking the looobster, we like to eat there sometimes) then we'll be fine. And this way we don't have to worry about traveling to another location on our first day at WDW and when we're done eating we can walk right out into the festival for more eating! :lmao:

I think I'm going to try to move the tea to Friday (our last day) and am now considering Sweet Sundays on the 18th ... :upsidedow: ... I'd like to see how it goes if we attend with a Grimace-free vibe.

Well, I decided to do an Epcot kiosk nosh day on Wednesday. If you decide to nosh for dessert, I'm only a text message away. ;)

Well, I bolded that comment because I know I'm in the minority about the French Regional Lunch. The wines were fine, but I just only liked 1 out of 3 courses. Catherine liked her FRL, and you liked yours, so maybe mine was just the fluke.

I'm not sure I'd want to do Sweet Sundays if it's being held in Palmhenge. Just saying. :rolleyes1 Or just check in 30-40 minutes prior to the event.

What a fun plan! Have a pint for me!

Well, I guess not everyone shares our unique sense of humor....good thing we normally keep to ourselves over here then!:lmao:

I just tried booking online dining reservations and entered my DVC reservation info, and I was able to book dinner at Bistro de Paris for 10/17, no problems.

I tried getting my +10 on line variously today and it would never work. I'll try it again when I'm done stuffing my face ... maybe it was a system glitch. That, or I'm being singled out again and that will only feed my persecution complex. :lmao:

Also ... I called DVC today to make a couple more ADRs ... We're going to do an early lunch at Brown Derby on the 21st; Yak and Yeti for lunch on the 22nd; and lunch at Rose & Crown on the 23rd.

OINKITY OINKITY!! :lmao:

Check out the proof! I love that they added color to the the Epcot golfball and am going to ask them to print it that way. You guys don't mind a little extra for some bling, do you? :goodvibes

I like it!:cool1:

:mad::mad::mad::mad::headache::headache::headache:

On line system will only highlight to 10/14 with my DVC reservation. What in the name of all that is hungry am I doing wrong??
