Belly Up to the Bar With Bendy and Her Friendies!!! Button Pics & New Thread Started!

Just got home ... I bought a CRV tonight. Did you know that in MO a car dealer will let you "forge" your spouses signature on all documents and its OK?

:confused3:lmao::scared1:

They didn't even verify our income - but I saw our credit scores when I pulled a bureau at work this afternoon - they were throwing money at me by the time I said I wanted to buy.

So I'm mostly happy but a little sad because I really loved my passat. But after it broke down three times in the last week after those wankers said they'd fixed it, I just didn't have any faith that it would last me through the rest of the week, let alone through next year, which is really when we wanted to trade it.

So yay for new cars with Sirius radio and heated seats!

Happiness is a warm butt.

The online reservation system is not giving me my 90+10 ... I thought this had been fixed?

I am suspecting that you signed onto it too early. It flips over at 6:00 East Coast Time... unless the DIS is WAY off again on its clock. :confused3 Did you get it resolved? I had no problems with my 90+10 two weeks ago. Let us know!

I ended up calling because I couldn't book anything past the 14th. Luckily got a really nice CM who knew her stuff and helped me through the fog.

Here's what we have as of now ...

dinner at Kona (10/14)

dinner at Citricos (10/15)

dinner at Blue Zoo (10/16)

breakfast at GFC (10/17)
dinner at Flying Fish (10/17)

lunch at Sci-Fi (10/18)

breakfast at Kona (10/19)
afternoon tea (10/19)
dinner at Il Mulino (10/19)

breakfast at Cape May (10/20)
lunch at Chefs de France (10/20)

dinner at Raglan Road (10/21)

breakfast at Boma (10/22)
dinner at CA Grill (10/22)

dinner at Jiko (10/23)

still some spaces there and I'm not sure that some of these won't change, but this is what we've reserved.

Also ... had to secure the Jiko ADR with a credit card as well as CA Grill. That's a new one.

Elin, I just tried to make a new reservation on-line and it still doesn't recognize my plus-10 ... it's 6:58 AM here in the Central Time Zone so I think there must something wrong with the system this morning.

I guess if I don't have to worry about car trouble I'll have to deal with ADR trouble.

Congratulations on the new car!!!!

Love those heated seats! Even though we live in Florida, we have them. When we get those few cold days during the winter they are the best thing to have.

Warms our bums very nicely! :rotfl:

It's funny how heated seats went from a luxury to a "have to have" in just a few short years. :lmao: There's nothing better than walking out of the office in January when the temps are in the teens and getting into a car that can give you hot cross buns! :rotfl2:

Congrats on the new car!!!!!!! What color CRV did you get?

It's dark blue with gray interior ... the color I really wanted was similiar to platinum but they only had it in 2WD and I wanted 4WD just because the weather around here is so goofy.

I'll post a picture later this weekend. I love the way it drives!

Congrats on the CR-V, Brenda! I loved the heated seats in our Grand Cherokee we had several years ago. They made me feel guilty, though, when little whogirl was sitting in the back in a non-heated carseat. No leather or heated seats in the Maxima now, but then again cloth is not as cold as leather in the winter!

Hi Jamie! I'm killing time until the bank opens and I go retrieve the VW title from the safe deposit box. I would have been OK with cloth seats but I admit once I had the heated seats in the VW I really didn't want to give them up.

And I'm already second guessing my ADRS ... I think it may be a record! I just know that I'm going to start changing stuff when I get to the office later this morning. :scared::rotfl2:

I did mine with the 90+10 last week with our DVC ressie # with no problems. Hmmmm...now I'm worried because I have to make our next round of ADR's.

It all looks good to me. No duds in the group-totally what our dining at Disney looks like.

 Congrats on the new car! You'll have to post pics soon so we can all admire it! I can't live without heated seats-its so nice to have a warm butt and back in the dead of winter. Our new car has a heated steering wheel and cooled seats as well. The cold seats are nice in the summer and I'm sure the warm steering wheel will be welcomed when its arctic temperatures out. All these new gadgets they give you in the cars just fascinates the crap out of me. Once they snare you with it, you can never go back to just the basics. Enjoy your CRV! :dance3:

Hi Allison!

I'm sure the dining glitch has everything to do with the fact that I was tyring to make ADRs today. :rotfl2: If it's going to misfire it will be when I try to use ... I'm surprised that my laptop hasn't burst into flames while I type this response.:rotfl2:

I'm thinking of ditching Kona on the first night and choosing a different restaurant in Epcot since that's an EMH and we wanted to dessert around the world, but I just don't know where to go. I wanted some new places to try on this trip but almost everything is a repeat.

Hmmmmm .... so much to think about. :upsidedow

Heated seats are the best......for some reason my Jeep doesn't have them (although it has every other deluxe feature including the damn computer that keeps beeping at me to remind me it's time for an oil change:lmao:), but Mike's Suburban does and there's nothing better than toasty butt cheeks on a cold morning!

We always say the same thing about wanting to try some new places, but ultimately we stick within our comfort zone 99% of the time. We enjoy the rut so its hard to get out of it. ;)

I already changed one thing ... but I was able to do this online ...

I dropped Kona for our first night and booked Coral Reef instead. I know that Coral Reef gets some bad reviews but we did have a really good F&W pairing there a couple of years ago and I think that as long as we go in with more of Red Lobster mentality (and I'm not knocking the looobster, we like to eat there sometimes) then we'll be fine. And this way we don't have to worry about traveling to another location on our first day at WDW and when we're done eating we can walk right out into the festival for more eating! :lmao:

I think I'm going to try to move the tea to Friday (our last day) and am now considering Sweet Sundays on the 18th ... :upsidedow: ... I'd like to see how it goes if we attend with a Grimace-free vibe.

Congratulations on the new car :thumbsup2 I've never had them and they would be nice since my convertible is like an ice box in the winter. Good thing for remote starters and remembering to leave the heat or defroster on!

Great ADRs!

Are Sweet Sunday's worth it? I was thinking of the one on the 18th before I go home.
