Ok ladies it is time for my planning journal! I have to say I am a little nervous as all of you have done such amazing planning journals to date!
Well here goes......

Df and I met when we both worked for the MOUSE in Orlando. I was on the international management program and he was working full time at the hotel where I was placed. I moved down for the year intership with no expectations of getting a boyfriend but as fate would have it 2 weeks in I met him!!!!! I am Canadian born and raised and he was born and raised in Colombia so imagine the difference in cultures but it still worked. As I had posted in another thread our first meeting was great I had that feeling in my stomac from the first glance. He spoke to me in Spanish thinking he would be all sauve and sexy but he had no idea that I spoke Spanish fluently! It was so funny to see the look on his face! Anyway fast forward to almost 6 years later and WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!!!!
Proposal #1 -Yes there were two but I will explain....I was in FLA in August with my parents and he works down there for right now so we went to the place we had our first date. Bongos in Downtown Disney. Now you have to understand DF is the most calm person in the world but this night he was OUT OF HIS MIND nervous. (Kinda the giveaway)! Anyhoo after dinner he took me to our next favorite spot Celebration for those who do not know it it is a community designed and built by Disney. Many nights while we were dating DF and I would spend hours in the rocking chairs just talking. I walked onto the dock that night and there were rose petals everywhere! I was like what is going on....On the furthest end of the dock there was a single white rose. I bent down to pick it up and when I turned around DF was on his knees with tears in his eyes! All I could do is fall down to my knees in front of him. Needless to say a whole bunch of tears fell and I said yes.
This shot was taken 20 mins before he proposed!
Now the reason behind proposal #2 Df had asked my parents permission but my grandmothers are so much a part of my life and he really wanted them to be part of it. So when he was in Toronto in Nov he asked the grandmothers permission and they were so cute and were so touched that he asked. Now the funny part is thank GOD I knew what was going to happen because they cannot keep a secret! Anyhoo fast forward to Christmas Eve and once again my amazing DF got down on one knee in front of the WHOLE FAMILY
The reason we chose a Disney wedding is because there is no other place we can imagine celebrating our day. Disney is our place! Here is a pic of the ring. I will post photos of proposal #2 when I get home from work!

Your DF is so romantic! I also love that you're so close w/ your parents and that they are doing WW w/ you. 13.5 lbs is nothing to be ashamed of!! You're doing awesome, I am so proud of you
