Sooo excited. My DD turned 4 today. I brought her to the Disney store to pick out any disney dress that she wanted. She picked Belle dress with crown. She looks beautiful. The dresses are absolutely gorgeous.

I bet she looks beautiful.

My DD had a Belle birthday party last Sept, turned 5. She dressed up as Belle too. I got her dress at PartCity. I did her hair up too. Her party was so much fun. We had a dozen roses as a centerpiece and each girl took one home as part of their party favors. Like the "rose" in the movie.

That sounds like an awesome idea. Thanks for the thought! I haven't started planning her party yet. Today was the family party and I will have her princess party in a couple of weeks. Thank you.

DD had a Beauty & the Beast b'day party as well when she turned 4 in Dec. She loved wearing her Belle dress, she trult felt like a Princess. Her dress will be at the top of my packing list when we go to WDW in Oct. for the Princess Storybook Breakfast.::yes::

My daughter, then 3, wore her snow white dress to the storybook breakfast and they really made a big deal out of it. In fact, she wore it all day because it is short it wasn't too hot. All day the staff commented that a real princess was here. It was wonderful.

mrsboz,
I just did a very successful Princess party. My DD turned 4 and her guests were boys and girls from 3-5.
I printed out prince and princess coloring pages and had that set out on our coffee table.
On another table I had crown making projects. I went to Burger King and got 15 crowns and spraypainted them gold. Then the kids glued on gems and sequins. I got the stick on earrings to use as gems.
On the last table I had pink and blue paper bags that the kids decorated with princess stickers. They used these bags to collect goodies from the princess pinata. The pinata was filled with rings, bracelets, necklaces, toy soldiers, cars and candy.
After the pinata, I had a big bowl filled with sand and plastic jewels and gold coins and shells. Easch guest got to reach in and pull out their treasure. I told them that Ariel dropped off some magical sand from her beach.
I am sure your princess is going to have a great day!

I just bought my 5 yo dd the Belle dress this weekend from DS, too! I think this is the most beautiful Belle dress they have put out--I love the roses on it. She looks beautiful!!!

This makes me think of my niece, who is also my goddaughter. A few years ago, when I asked her what she wanted to be for Halloween, she said "a princess"! So we took her to the Disney Store, she picked out the Cinderella dress. When she tried it on (she was 2 1/2) she looked in the mirror and said "I am a pretty pretty princess!" and she was! She told me recently that she wants to be Belle this year. Maybe her little sister can be Cinderella....
