Beignet Blow-up!

When I was walking by the Mint Julep window earlier today, they were shutting down as something is wrong with the beignet making. On my way back out of NOS I stopped by to grab a free water from French Market and window had reopened for drinks only with no ITA on beignets.

I always mobile order as we are walking that way and they are ready asap. And yes I have had Jazz Kitchens before and they are great but I prefer the mickey shaped ones as they are easier to eat and to me taste much better.

It looks like you can mobile order the beignets now. So is the Mint Julep Bar back in the beignet business? We'll be there next week and want pumpkin beignets!

Agreed 100x! I had a Jazz Kitchen beignet before trying the ones from Mint Julep Bar. The ones from Mint Julep Bar didn't seem worth the calories to me. It was kind of just like a dry, airy donut. I probably got stale ones, but it was "meh" enough for me that I didn't need to try it again.
