Has anyone done this? If so, was it an interesting and worthwhile tour? Thanks! :)

If you are a gardening lover (such as I am) you will love it. I came away with thousands of ideas. I was fascinated. My kids were a bit bored, but the CM who did the tour (wish I could remember his name) made it interesting! It is also one of the least expensive of the tours and made me feel special.

I'm heading back in October and planning on doing it again!

We did this, and really liked it. We had 2 year old twins, just turned 2. an 8 year old, and 2 adults. All of us really enjoyed it.They showed the kids all the bugs they use for pest control. The greenhouse methods. And at the end the baby alligators and the fish farming. We thought it was totally worth it.

I'd done this 3 times, and each time I enjoyed it very very much. I think it's one of the best kept secret of WDW, considering the price and amount of info given.

Make sure you put your name down first thing you get into Epcot. The tour is *very* popular and it's first come first serve. During busy times, it's completely booked by 11am.

As for the tour, interns took us into the green house, and explained to us how/ why things are being done there. And how inefficient that actually is in the regular real world. (I think she told us that only really dry countries would benefit from such schema, relative to the cost). My brother had 2 master degrees in Agriculture and he actually enjoyed it a lot too.

Definitely do it. Then go next door in the afternoon and do the ice cream social (another hidden gem).

It was a fun and different look at the green houses that you go through on the Land ride.

I did it with my 9 year old son and he liked it. He thought the plant they showed at the end as really cool. Oh and he liked the bug part in the beginning when they talk about good bugs and bad and bug repellent plants.

It's certainly cheap enough. I think it was $6 a person when we did it.

Have Fun!!

We did the tour last May and it was definitely worth the money! I am not into gardening, but it was cool to go behind the scenes at the Land and learn about all of their plants!

One of the giggliest parts of the tour is when you're in areas were you can be seen by the guests in the boats. It's so much fun to wave, lol.

My 9 year old DD liked it and my DH, who is not a gardener but rather an amateur chef, loved it! I'd recommend it. Not only is it inexpensive but, when we went, there was an additional discount for paying via AMEX. Enjoy!
