So the questions is: Is it worth it enough to book it on a day when attendance is very high in Epcot (I believe it is only available on Tuesdays?). We are once a year visitors with Blue Card and this trip will be for DD High School Grad Trip. Some of our party have never been to WDW and we would hate to make this a priority when we could be more strategic about timing and what park we visit. Thanks

Another thing to consider is that it’s really hard to book because they only take like 12 ppl-ish. I tried at 60 days but it was already fully booked by people with longer stays that rolled into that particular Tuesday. For me the tour looks interesting but I would only book if I am staying at an Epcot hotel and can walk over. It does seem like a lot of effort otherwise.

Be aware that the back entrance to Epcot doesn’t open as early as you have to be there for the tour. We were told it would be, but the gate across the entrance was locked. We went back to BC we were staying, and they called and paid for a taxi for us. We were lucky to have booked it pre Covid.

I would not take the time to do this tour if there are first-timers in the party (especially if they are teens). We did the tour back when Soaring' was the place to go for rope drop. It's mildly interesting, but not worth giving up other attractions.

Good point, we are staying at BLT this trip. If we do not do the tour and choose another trip we will definitely keep this in mind!

Thanks for the thoughts. Was thinking because several of the party are Engineers and would be interested in the structure etc.

If y’all don’t get to do the tour, there’s an old video on Disney+ about imagineering Soarin’ over California. The mock-up was done using the Imagineer’s kids’ Erector set.

FYI to those looking to do this tour. It looks like it isn't being offered anymore. It's been pulled from the DVC website and the CM told me this morning that no more future dates have been scheduled.

That's a shame, it was on my "I want to do it" list but 7AM comes awfully early so I never felt the need to schedule it so far...
