Watched the member webcast after I came home from work. I agree this format was much better than previous ones. I wish I could add a few Aulani points, but I'm on restriction according to my DH.

Wish us luck in securing a reservation for Jan 2012 for a couple of nights to check out the resort.

Does anyone know the current DVC incentives offered on the cruise. These were better than what was offered on my March cruise. We have another coming up, so I was curious as to whether the pot is being sweetened there?

They did not offer any incentives for AKL for existing members anyway. Just BLT and Aulani.

Can anyone confirm that the following was the BLT promotion on the latest webinar? Had a disagreement with a DVC guide who quoted a lower discount. Thanks.

BLT – $140 per point purchase price. 10% down payment required.
Contract of 160-219 points - receive $12 per point credit
Contract of 220-319 points - receive $18 per point credit
Contract of 320 or more points - receive $20 per point credit

We enjoyed the webcast, but were certainly not interested in adding on before we watched it or afterward! I did think the 'deals' were adequate though, and well worth the trouble of watching the webcast if you were inclined to add on.

Are you making an initial purchase? Because we only saw the add on webcast and the discounts are different than what you're quoting. The add on figures are show on Post #1.

I tried asking about incentives at AKV add ons.
I hit the "chat" button and got a generic answer about them having some "great offers" and "may I have a guide call you?".
I've already left a message for my guide and she is never available to talk when I am available.
I don't have time to wait for them leaving me a message and then me having to call them back if the guide is available.

I just need an answer as to what is the current per point purchase price for add ons at AKV and if there are any discounts/incentives.

I guess I'm not going to be adding on if I can't get an answer.

I timed the Samantha Brown portion of the webcast at 20 minutes exactly. there are other segments hosted by another lady - destinations, how DVC works, the finances, and I think one other. I would have liked it if they told us how long the show was going to take so I could plan better. As it was I fit it in by eating lunch at my computer! Looks very tempting but my finances are not what they could be to take advantage of the offers. Good luck!

We watched it last night. It makes me want to visit Aulani even more than I did before!! What an improvement this webcast was over the others that Disney has done. The production value was top notch.
