I know this looks like a stupid question, but we went end of October in 2013 to do both Halloween and Christmas parties. I loved it! However, bc we got there October 26th, a lot of Halloween merchandise was gone.
We are planning for October 2015 right now and was looking to go on the 17th for two weeks. But I'm wondering now about moving it up a couple weeks earlier. Is there a advantage in terms of crowds or weather? We like it hot and are staying BC and AKL so lots of resort/pool time planned!
Thanks in advance!

I would say change to earlier in the month. It's less crowded and when we went the first week of October there was ALOT of Halloween merchandise. We like going when its hot too, and it was hot late Sept./early Oct. we swam every night:) I've never been to Disney in mid/late Oct. but I have heard it gets busier as Halloween gets closer, oh and if you can avoid Columbus Day that always brings in more crowds that weekend. Have a great trip:goodvibes

Earlier in October it is usually a little warmer and the crowds lower as long a sit is not the holiday weekend. We found it busier the closer you get to Halloween. Not sure if that is always or just our experience. We will be there the first week this October.

I would say move it up to the earlier time frame.
