Beginning July 30, Face Covering required indoors, in queues & attractions, on Transportation

I use some disposable KN94s here at home that are pretty good when it's hot. Also my girls made me a mask lanyard with their rainbow loom which helps a lot.
Alternatively, we have also used a silicone mask w disposable filter (google "gatapack") that has a plastic insert to hold the mask part off your face. Everything except the filter (which is supposedly KN95 ish) is dishwasher safe. The silicone makes a seal around the face and it comes in kids and adults' sizes. It's the one we use for flying.

We also have a box of 50 surgical style masks in assorted colors in our Owners Locker - bought for our 1st pandemic trip. I guess they will still be used! We were also planning to mask in solidarity with our unvaccinated little kids, in crowds (<6' of space) outside and indoors even before the mask policy changed.
I just found the silicon ones with changeable filters for my granddaughter for school! I found them at Lowes, in the rack by the check out of all places. she loves them! super comfortable, and breathable and we live in Orlando. maybe give them a try? OH yeah, they glow in the dark and come in different neon colors.

Those sound cool and fun! As a retired teacher . I’d be shutting the lights and the shades so other kids could see how cool!! Lol

When I went in July, they had just dropped the indoor & outdoor mask requirements for vaccinated, but still required it for transportation. I was vaccinated and didn't use masks anymore around home & work, so I actually needed to pick up a pack of disposables - at the time it looked like masking was going away everywhere and masks were blow-out-cheap on Amazon - got a 50 pack of disposables for $1.99 shipped free. I figured I'd end up just throwing away whatever I didn't use. Used 4 of them that trip...and kept them just in case Disney still required them for transportation when I went in September. Glad I held onto them now, with the indoor mask rule back...if it doesn't drop again by the time I go in September, I'll probably end up going through another 4-8 of them between the rides, restaurants, and transportation...making one disposable last through the day might be tough in September heat and humidity so I'll probably bring 3-4 a day to the parks just in case.

Covid in FL. is off the chart, folks. Wear your masks, wash your hands, get your shots and protect your little ones. Please stay safe! It's bad here.
