Moving through the process of getting contracts signed, deposit made, and going next going through ROFR...

My question is, is it customary to receive a complete copy of the contract before sending a deposit? What I mean is one with not just my signature but also what the seller has signed?

I would like to have it but don't know if it's standard practice...

We didn't and we used fidelity and magic vacation title. The deposit is held in escrow by the title company so they aren't going to just run off with the deposit :)

Waiting for a copy with both signatures can waste precious days that you could have been in ROFR so I think most don't ask for it. I'm sure you could though...
