Here are a few photos taken from either 12 or 24 years ago compared to ones taken just a couple weeks ago (May 2013).

How cool! Awesome idea!
We can certainly tell how much cameras have changed for the better! :cool1:
Thank you for sharing your pictures with the DIS!

I love seeing the things about the park that have changed (or that hasn't!)

Did you notice the poles in the right of the Epcot picture? The blue and white barbershop stripes and the leaning blue pole next to it?

And what are the tall antenna-like poles to the left and right of spaceship earth??

Yes, the Venetian poles are the same. I don't know what the tall poles in the background were. Someone reading this will know.

I love this! I have some 'same' shots of DS through his (6yrs) years at WDW. Can't wait to keep it up!

Fun pictures. :)

PS - you might want to bookmark. I would expect this to be moved to the TP Community forum.

This is great! Gives me the idea to get some of the photos from when I was a kid and do the same thing. Those would be a 40 year difference.

You can sure see how the quality of the camera has changed over the years!

I wish my parents could find our Disney pictures from the last time I was there! I would love to do some of these re-creations. Maybe I'll have to dig in their basement before November!!

I'm amazed at how little has changed! (besides you guys of course ;) )

Seems as though Disney's mentality is to do it right the first time, and "don't fix it if it ain't broken".

We have been taking photos of our sons on the speeder as well on every trip- like the one in my profile picture. That pic was taken when younger DS was 8- he's 10 now and we are hoping to still be able to hold him up like that on our trip in August! :thumbsup2 Awesome memories, OP!
