My dd did this last fall. She's now growing it long enough to do again!

You can go to www.locksoflove.org for more information on donating hair. There are several guidelines for length and shipping. Some salons will actually cut & style your hair for free and send it for you. However, where my dd goes, they did not offer this service.

DD received a nice letter in the mail several weeks later from Locks of Love, thanking her for her generous donation.

I just did it for the second time this past April. Since I can't donate blood I figure at least I can donate hair.

Awww! That's so cool! Your daughter is beautiful! And her hair is beautiful too! Your daughter and I have similar hair pw2pp. Similar in color and texture!

Anyone interested in donating to Locks of Love, you can go to any Fantastic Sam's hair salon and they will donate your hair for you. The last time I donated my hair was in the fall of 2001. I haven't had a haircut since last October. By this October I should be ready to donate it once again, that then that's it for me. I'm going to keep my hair short! But ... that's what I said last time too.
