Beer/Wine Supply

We will be returning "home" to SSR in three days. We have groceries being delivered by Garden Grocer but are wondering the best way to get beer/wine for our room. We will not have a car and would like to avoid paying WDW prices for this. Any suggestions?

Send Garden Grocer an email. They will add it to your order it's just not on the form.

You can order beer/wine from grocery service but a person 21 or older has to be present when the delivery arrives. We usually pack our adult beverages in bubble wrap and pack them in our luggage!

You might want to try the Hess gass stations, I think we've done that before. There is one near the MK and one next to the Boardwalk. You could also always get a cab to take you to the nearest package store.

If you fax them a copy of your license, then they will leave the entire order with Bell Services in the event you are not there when the gorceries are delivered.

Either way, just have Garden Grocer bring the beer & wine, then its done and you don't have to worry about it.

that's good to know. When I called to inquire for our August trip the lady I spoke with said that we had to be present. I will have to ask about faxing a copy of my license.

Thanks all. I called Garden Grocer. They only needed a copy of my drivers license and they will deliver it to the room. Very cool!!
