Beer tasteing/making tour

Anyone done this? Can you tell me how long it is, how much it costs & how you arrange it? My dh fancy's giving it a go.

If you are talking about the brewmasters club, it is free and lasts about 30 - 45 minutes, you will need to sign up for a time at guest services when you get to the park. With this you will gt to choose and sample 4 different beers or beers with additives that you would like, you will learn about how they are brewed and what they should be paired with.

We have done this on a couple of occasions and it is a pretty informative and educational experience. I mean I found out that if the beer bubbles from the sides of a glass when it is poured in it means that the glass is dirty.....

They stopped signing up at the front counter and now you have to go to the Hospitality House where the actually do the Brewmaster Club to sign up. It is different from the old Brewmaster where they taught you how they make the beer and is now more like a beer version of wine tasting. Still, it's well worth your time.

I did the Brewmaster's Tour 2-3 years ago. I went with my father. Yes, you have to sign up at the Hospitality Center and it is free. They take you to a waiting area and then you enter a room with several mini-bars. A bartender takes about four people at a time and presents them with glasses. The bartender explains how beer is made and will let you sample four types of beer. They will also give you cheeses and fruits that compliment certain beers. (I don't drink so the tasting part was pointless for me, but I want to see the tour anyway). My father seemed to enjoy it though!
