When is this? Is it the same time every year? Is it better than the Food and Wine Festival at Disney?

It was held Nov. 10 and 11, 2001; not sure of the exact dates in 2002 but it was also during the second week of November.

the beer festival is held on the weekend nearest to veterans day. You simply by a ticket for 25 dollars and the cost covers your landyard that you were around your neck containing your drivers liscense and your ticket and a glass (which you must reuse over and over if you loose your glass you have to buy a nother ticket). This intitles you to sample over 125 different kinds of beers and bottled alcohol drinks. I liked sampling everything but a word to the wise don't try the chocolate beer. Yea , that is right i said the chocolate beer, it is very nasty. Note only did we get free beer but we also got free t-shirts and other things the vendors were giving out.
but this is what i recommend to be a childless event. keep the kids at home or make arrangements for childcare.
and if you plan to do this check out the night life at city walk after ten. my aunt and i went dancing at city jazz and had a ball. everyone was really nice. the performers were great and added a lot of ambienence to the place. but to get the real effect remember to go after 10 . we closed down the place to nights in a row. all i can say is fabulous. :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Apparently the beerfest is insanely popular. It's been going for three or four years now and has been getting more crwds and more bands and just more popular each year. I'd rather work the event if OT is available. :p

While the beer fest is a lot of fun, it is different that the food/wine fest at disney.

The food and wine fest is booths with food/wine.

The beer fest is huge crowds...waits in line for getting your beers.

This is an excellent event...but they need to do some work on it...better selection of breweries, spread the booths out so that people are not packed in like sardines. The city walk restaurants do a great job of putting their food out there at reasonable prices.
