We're considering the Base ticket plus water parks & more. Seems that Disney quest is one of the "more" options. Has anyone been to Disney Quest in the past couple of months and can comment on it? We've read the descriptions. Our boys would be 11, 10, and 8 at the time we would visit in the winter.

Thanks.

LaSt August...

My 10 y.o. DD loved DQ, although she was too short for a couple of the attractions. Note here: check minimum height requirements before you invest the time and money.

I wasn't overly impressed, but it was fun to watch my her play.

We went in March and in July and it was fun. DH enjoyed it more than I did, but the virtual space mountain, POTC and the Jungle Cruise are well worth the time. It was a lot fun for the three or four hours we were there (I wouldn't want to stay longer than that) and we will be going again. . .

We were there a few weeks ago. Your kids are the perfect age for Disney Quest. Head down to Pirates of the Caribbean first.

We have gone to DQ just last Sept. It is one of my children's favorite places. We usually are there about 3-4 hours. Dh and I have some fun but we are not total video game, virtual reality type people. The kids are though. I think that it was well worth it to go for your boys.

Be prepared to come out exhausted - there's a 3d VR lightsaber-style game that leaves your arms aching, POTC will have you running around the deck of a ship blasting cannons at the enemy, and jungle cruise will see you sitting in a dinghy waving oars around madly as you try to get the participants to coordinate and steer in a straight line!

You know you've made a good coaster if the system asks you to confirm you want such a severe ride...

We were there in November and my DH and DD14, would have stayed there all night, they had a great time.

I have three girls and my entire family loves DQ. We were last there at the end of September. We usually make two stops of 2 to 3 hours each to DQ during our Disney trips. There is a lot to choose from: designing your own rollercoaster (and then riding it), POTC, Jungle Cruise, and just about every video game old and new. :cool1:

If any of your boys like to draw, have them try one of the animation sessions they run throughout the day. You learn how to draw one of the Disney characters.

We went on 12/6 and had the best time! My DH and I and then my DM(58) and sister 24. Out of the 4 of us I would say my DH and DM loved the most. We will make it a stop next time we go. It gives you a nice brake from the parks will out making you fill that you left Disney. I l oved Astro Blasters make sure you do that! Have a great time :wizard:

we were there in October. OUr kids are big gamers and LOVED every minute of DQ. You all need to do POTC...that was great fun!
