Been Surfing The "Other Disney" Sites, and Boy, Am I Glad To Be Back!

I tried someone's advice and did a Yahoo search for Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Lines. What a nightmare. It is truely a wonder that any of thoes poor lost souls there learn anything useful at all. I have been in and out of many many sites this afternoon, and I was hoorified at some of he "other" message boards. On one board, every post and reply for Jan, Feb, and March was listed on ONE page!!

Now I am back with my family. What a relief.

Oh, and no real offence to the "other" sites intended. And, I do NOT mean that Dave's, Barb's and Deb's sites are boring or uninformative. I know better than that!!!! THEY are great!!!

But please, take a moment sometime to let the wonderful, caring, and dedicated people on these boards know how much they are appreciated.

I've done alot of Disney World cruising on the internet, and there simply aren't any message boards that come close to the GREATNESS of the The DIS. Thanks to Pete and all the moderators who make this place so very magical.

I second Mary Jo. Pete and crew keep this place very nice but it is the people who post that make it what it is!

I agree that the DIS boards are the best. I too sometimes surf to other sites, but you can read in an hour what was posted in a week or more! Here sometimes I can't even keep up - especially on the community board.

So to Pete, the Moderators, and all the posters of the DIS boards - thanks for giving me a great place to come to each day.

I agree, I have tried many of them over the years..but none are like this. The fact that so many great people post here is wonderful and the moderators keep it a nice place to visit where you are not afraid to speak and be flamed for every word..keep up the good work everyone. This board exhibits the true mean of Disney and is very user friendly....

Hard to find a better place than the DIS. The people here are waht make it what it is, a community. After having met so very many over the years, I can truly say we stand tall.
