So, my mom and I have decided it is time to redo my bedroom. However, we are rather unimaginative when it comes to design so we have no idea what to do. On one of her design shows that she watches it said that it is easier to pick a theme first and then design the room so as to make picking everything easier.
SO, my point is, what are the themes that you guys have in your bedrooms? ANYTHING you have to say will help.

my room doesnt have a theme but I love

beach theme-one of my friends did this to her room and it was awesome. She had a tan rug (like sand) and blue walls (like water) and her celing painted a light purple (lik the sunset). her bed was a hammack (like one you would find on the beach)
:cool2:

my room isn't themed.
I just did it with stuff i liked.

I suggest you go find a bed set you like then work around that.

My room isnt themed. My parents' room is beached themed though and its gorgeous. But my room is a light brown with with trim, headboard, and desk. Comforter and most everything else is brown but I have accent colors that I alternate out. Last week the accent color was bright blue, and this week its lime green.

My parents have a yellow/sunflower theme.

I have an "On Broadway/dance" theme for mine. Self-explanitory, XD

my room is black & white themed

my bed set is black and white chandeliers
and i have a zebra rug
etc (:

Well, when i moved the walls were painted green with a small blue stripe going around the walls. So, then i just got a green comforter set and my curtins are green, then one in the middle is blue. (:

my room isnt really a theme either

I just picked to colors that I liked together, which were pink and green and painted by room, found a bedspread that matched and went to ikea for some furniture. I dont really like it anymore but they wont redo it. I like the furniture but I am not fond of the colors so make sure you LOVE the colors you chose.
