Bedding configurations at hotels

Hi all, doing some hotel bookings (taking advantage of 9 x Qantas points) and I've noted that the 'large single' bed configuration is quite common in Japan. I've managed to find accommodation in Tokyo and Osaka that has double/queen beds, but nothing around Disneyland yet. I was looking at the hotels around Bayside station, but they all seem to have 2 large single beds. My boyfriend is a bigger guy and I don't think a large single is going to cut it lol! Do any of those hotels have actual double sized beds? Sheraton looks like it might, but $3k+ for 5 nights is not within our budget Sleeping in separate beds is an option but not ideal
