bed rails

Just called our resort to put in our request and the person I spoke with told me they don't know if the resort has bed rails? Not sure if that just means they are limited and they don't want to guarantee bed rails. So wondering if I should rent some or maybe try using a pool noodle if we can find some… Any one else use a pool noodle before? Do you think i will be able to find them in jan??

Not sure where you are staying but I have never had a problem getting bed rails. (Stayed at POFQ and POR). When our kids were very young we would get 2 bed rails. As they got older we'd just get one for the side where the younger one slept. Now we no longer need them so I can't speak to any other resorts where we have stayed.
Sorry- I don't have any experience with using pool noodles for this purpose.

If you are staying on site you should have no issue getting bad rails. Just ask when you check in and housekeeping will bring them. When I worked at Y&BC we had at least 10 rails in every stock closet...and about 2 or 3 stock closets per floor. Lots of rails to go around! You may have been speaking to someone new to front desk, or a call center person - they wouldn't be as familiar with the availability of the rails as someone in housekeeping who actually delivers them.

Now when I have stayed anywhere but disney, anywhere in the country, they look at me like I have 2 heads when I ask for bed rail! It's frustrating since I have an older kid who still falls off and a baby who sleeps with us.

We have gotten bed rails at every Disney hotel. They bring them to the room, set them up...and the bed rails work great!
