Okay all you diehard savers. Help me out.

I have all my coupons stacked up in a pile. (About 15 of them) and am ready to get all my DS's college shopping done. But I want to save even more money. (I think I'm in the right place here :))

So when does the big flyer come out and the sales begin? :confused3
I was there yesterday and it looks like they're almost ready to begin. Nothing was on sale yet. I want to get the stuff before the best selection is gone.

IME, BB&B doesn't usually have sales, they just advertise their regular prices. The only time the prices drop is when items are on clearance, and then the selection is slim. I'd just go with my stack of coupons. 20% off each item you purchase isn't a bad deal.

Also, keep an eye on the prices of things. You might find that some items are less expensive elsewhere.

Thanks for the info. I think I'll drag me DS back there and get it over with. I wish I could shop without him, it would be a lot more fun. He thinks shopping is some kind of torture moms put kids through.

why don't you have him pick stuff out on the website, THEN go to the store to add a few things you know he isn't going to remember? They have a checklist you can print out, have him go from that so he is having the say so and sees some ideas. Less stressful than in the store. We also took advantage of their program which let us "register", we chose DD stuff at our local BBB and then picked it up at the one nearest her school in Sarasota saving the shipping and hassle of packing everything.

We picked up the checklist yesterday at BB&B. That's a good idea. I'll have him look online and then go pick it up. We're only a little more than an hour from his college, so lugging it really isn't a problem. Thanks.!:)
