I wonder if I'll have the nerve to do a page based on one of her sketches and send it in? I have never done anything like that before but I would be so thrilled to be included in her new book!
Oh, you should definitely do it and submit!! I did it when I first started scrapping and got 2 layouts into a CK special issue... but it was like a contest through LSSs. I look back and think THOSE got published... LOL!!! Here is the issue... A World of Memories.
Woooooohoooooooo! I can't wait! OK, I think we need a submission challenge. Who is brave enough to submit? I've never submitted a thing in my life, but what a great way to start. Go for it!
Thanks for sharing. I don't think I have any hope of actually doing a layout by the deadline...but I'll submit it if I do one and think its good. Probably wouldn't get picked though because I'm using mostly CM stuff.
Diane, congratulations on being published! I bet that was so exciting, especially since it is a book not just a periodical.
Jeanne, I think we need to have some sort of submission thing. If we were all cheering each other on, I bet we could do it. Wait, if we all sent something in, it would diminish my chances of being picked, LOL! Just kidding!
I am up for the submission challenge - I have always wanted too but have been a scaredy cat!
The more I read at two-peas the more I can deal with 'the rejection' becasue I hear that sometimes they will call you 6 months later wanting to use the layout for something different - so at least I can find comfort that they MAY pick it up SOMEDAY!
Ok - I alrady did a two page spread based on #40
pathetic ahe - I couldn't wait! And with the kids on vacation - Matt is out with dad and Gab has a friend over I had the time!
