ChocoCat(Im so sorry if I butchered the spelling) Congratulations on your VR! 10 years is a long time.

I think I pretty much want everything at one resort and that being the GF(partially to save guests confusion on how to get to each resort, and think this might be the most friendly for our Elderly Grandparents. My Granma(mom's mom) is the only Grandparent that I know of both Erick's & my Grandparents whom have ever been to WDW. We took her a few weeks before my 16th Birthday and enjoyed a day split between AK & MK(and we wore the poor lady out she needed a Wheel Chair). I have the cutest pic of her on the Carousel(need to scan that one). I think we're goig to have our DP here too.

I actually think for the Ceremony either on the Beach at the WP and the WP itself need minimal decoration as does Narcoosee. I think tiki torches and maybe a few palm trees should work for isle decor with one or two small floral arangements on the table for our sand ceremony. This is one area instead o having our parents join us, we will have Erick, Skyler, & I pour the sand in.

I have actually searched for flower designs on the Disney Florist's website that could work beautifully with my vision. Here are the ones I love:

I don't think they're overdoing it. They have the right feel for either Narcoosee(or The Attic).

I think we're going to try to somehow save on needing to use Transportation, since Erick's parents will probably stay at the same hotel as his Grandparents and will drive them over if they're not at the sane hotel as us, same for my dad whom will have no problem transporting his mom & step dad. My mom & her boyfriend will do the same for her mom(all without complaints).

I know for Jewelery I will be wearing Pearls. My mom gave me the most gorgeous pearl necklace for my Sweet 16 and it is the perfect occasion to debeut it at. I will be buying either a single pair of pearl studs or two(one will be smaller) for my top holes(if it won't look too tacky), and a pearl bracelet. I just need my dad to bring my necklace with him or overnight it to me(he still has it in his safe).

Shoes will be ballet flats or flip flop/low sandals for both myself and my Bridesmaids. I think it will be the most easy for everyone to walk down sand in. Erick and the guys will be wearing polo shirts(either Lilly Pulitzer to match the girls in this gorgeous aqua/white or ones with Mickey Mouse embroidered on them) and khakis(Erick tried on a linen shirt and didn't like the feel of it on him) with either sneakers or boat hoes(if I can find a style that Erick likes & feels comfortable in) since he's not a flip flop or sandal type of guy.

Erick gets to choose the menu, although I think Narcoosee has something we can narrow down for everyone. I am going to see if he will add lobster as one of his choices, although I know Filet will be one of them, as well as a Chicken Dish, and something for the kids.

If I haven't mentioned Skyler will be the Ring Bearer and Erick's & my identical twin nephews Parker & Peyton will be escorting my mom down the isle(she is going to me a MOH and standing right next to me). I figured since my mom is more than my mom and is my best friend too, she deserved a title much more than Mother of the Bride.

I will give introductions to my Bridesmaids and MOH's in a later installment. It however does include both my sister as Matron of Honor, another friend as a MOH, Erick's little sister, our other SIL, and my 2 est friends from college whom are still to this day 2 of my best friends. I know it sounds like I have a large Bridal Party, but these ladies deserve it.

It took us forever to find at least a Band Erick was happy with. He prefers Yellow Gold(which I love too and most of my jewelery is yellow gold) so he was the hard one to shop for. I absolutely love my set, however Erick was irate with our FDBil(we're not sure if he and his sister are married yet, although we think they are) since he majorly ruined my birthday in November(mind you we were supposed to be out of town for my Brother's Bar Mitzvah the day after my Birthday however I got he Flu and we couldn't go) and IRS and buys his sister my same exact ring. Please don't get me wrong I love Erick's sister to death & am happy for her, but he could have at least picked a different shape stone. Erick is now more in a rush to find a different ring for me so I can have some individuality from his sister. We are planning to exchange new bands too for our VR and keep ou current ones for Skyler when he decides to get married.

It's actually from a bakery in New Orleans(Erick's home state). Erick is an avid New Orleans Saints fan as well as a LSU(Louisiana State) Tigers Fan, so that is a must for him. This is something I am not sure if the GF Bakery or Boardwalk Bakery might be able to replicate. If anyone knows if even an outside Baker who might be able to attempt this Masterpiece for him, please let me know. I don't think Publix would be able to make something quite like this, but this is his dream Grooms Cake.

The cake is too cool looking for me to deny him his Saints/LSU Cake. If he can put up with me wanting a Disney VR, he deserves that cake.

I love all of your flower choices. We sent something very similar to the rose goblets (in pink) to all of the flower girls with a note asking them welll to be flower girls.

I am sorry about your sister inlaw and the rings. That sucks, but at least you will have a great time shopping for a new one.

The Saints Cake is really cool. Be careful about your locations if you are using an outside vendor - just because I think there many be some restrictions. I think Disney could easily do it. It may cost a little more but I would probably just stick with them.

It's great that you have your topper picked - it will make deciding on a cake so much easier.

Thank you Cassie. How coincidental about the floral choices. I think that's why I'm going with pastels and pink, purple, & white for flowers since they match with the cake topper. It was one thing I couldn't pass on the price.

Thank you for the tip on the outside vendors. I think the Grooms cake if we can't have it at a Resort Restaurant, we'll get that and serve it in our room to everyone. Figuring that would be a safe bet. It's going to be served
at the Welcome Party for Dessert. I think for
the ceremony, reception, and DP(which I
think I want it at Sago Cay or GF Marina,
hopefully we'll be ok with an outside
photographer, videographer, and officiate
since it will be at a resort not inside the
parks. I really want my friend Lindsay who
may be easier to get than The Roots to photograph our VR. She had offered to let us
borrow her daughter Lily as our Flower
Girl(since I can't find one). All floral and
decor we will use the Disney Florist for as of course food, cake, etc. If we need to have
the ceremony in the WP, I think I will see
about having our centerpieces also double as
our ceremony floral and have them moved
into Narcoosee. The WP is beautiful, it doesn't need much extra decor.

Thank you so much for the compliment Cassie! I need to get new pictures of Skyler taken(those are from last year, but he looks the same but taller). I certainly didn't think anyone wanted to see pictures of him running around in his Pull-Ups.

Oh and I asked Erick about the Lilly Pulitzer blue I love, so hopefully I will get to post more pictures of what our colors are going to be. I also have pictures of dresses for myselbhs I love and a few bridesmaid dresses and some cakes I love too that fit with my theme.

Thanks Cassie. I have one ai started on my old computer on Weddingwire. Can't wait for us to get our new laptop so I can start saving eerything again in one place. My phone is kind of doubling as that for me for the moment.

Thanks about my ring btw. I actually googled pink & blue diamond rings yesterday and texted Erick the links(surprisingly some were quite affordable for us). That was Erick's original idea foe my E-ring was pink & blue diamond(and they match the Lilly dresses & polo shirts to a t). He just isn't have the money at the time to buy one, so he lucked out that I had my Zales Account for us to use for our rings at the time. He knows he gets to pick my next ring though(I want him to at least surprise me with that one since he couldn't when he popped the question and I picked out my own ring when we bougt our bands. It's only fair). I even found a matching blue and white diamond channel set band another place which will look nice. It looks just like my band now with alternating blue and white diamonds.

I looked at cakes online for ideas. Sadly I lost a picture on my computer that was a very different Cinderella Cake( it had he clock and the stairs, with Cinderella at the bottom of the steps and a slipper). I don't think Disney does
Pillow Cakes, so I'm going to have to keep looking on that one. I've seen a few on the Cake boards on here that I love but always get an eh, they're alright from Erick. One of them I love our friend from college Gwen had for her
Escape DFTW, so we're still looking what might e different and go with our topper.

Some of our music is picked out. I think we're going to use either Erick's old iPod or one of our iPhones (I lost my iPod, unless I get a new one for us to use that day, but his holds a lot of songs on it). Probably the only songs if my Grandparents are still alive that we'll get complaints about are the Def Leppard, Bon Jovi, and Quiet Riot songs(we're complete '80's Rock Fans).

I'll post our songs in another post though.
