From Toy Story 2, it's called Because she loved me, and I think it's called When she loved me. Sarah Mclaughlin sings it.

When somebody loved me
Everything was beautiful
Every hour spent together
Lives winthin my heart

And when she was sad
I was there to dry her tears
And when she was happy
So was I
When she loved me

Through the summer and the fall
We had each other that was all
Just she and I together
Like it was meant to be

And when she was lonely
I was there to comfort her
And I knew that she loved me

So the years went by
I stayed the same
But she began to drift away
I was left alone
Still I waited for the day
When she'd say "I will always love you"

Lonely and forgotten
Never thought she'd look my way
She smiled at me and held me just like she use to do
Like she loved me
When she loved me

When somebody loved me
Everything was beautiful
Every hour spent together
Lives within my heart
When she loved me.

DD sings it to one of her dolls and at the end of singing it I always hear her whisper "I will always love you forever".

It makes me well up every time.

My kids always tease me when they hear that song, because they know it always starts me sobbing!!!

When I saw that movie, I thought RATS, now I REALLY will never be able to get rid of any of my kids' toys.

I always believed that toys were real and had feelings.

I never saw TS2. But DD14 has a lot of Disney music and loves that song, so I heard it a lot but was always puzzled by it. I thought of it as "the lesbian song". It's a girl singing a love song about a "she".

Then I caught about 15 minutes of TS2 one day and the part I saw included that scene. DH came home to see me sobbing while watching it.

Now I love that song, too, and it always makes me cry.

I always believed that my toys had feelings. What a sweet and sad song. Perhaps I shouldn't see the movie, I cry too easily.

I love toy story and that song! I always felt that my toys had feelings and I so I'd always try to rotate them so they each got equal play time....imagine my horror when I learned my mom recently got rid of all my stuffed animals without telling me! Just because I got married last year she thinks I'm too grown up for my old toys...:(

NOT EVEN CLOSE!! :jester:
As you can see, I'm Bear's mommy....bear is, of course, really Cinders the beanie buddy! You are never too old to have and love a favorite toy. Unfortunately, my husband and I "fight" over who gets to play with our bear
