Thanks for stopping by. My birthday the 9th is going to be slow just checking out the resorts and there are sleep in days where we get up when ever we want to. We also are not going commando in the parks, just taking our time this trip. We can't wait for D23!

Why is it that after the ADR’s are made, the itinerary set, and meets planned, I feel the need to change something, move something, add something? It is a sickness I tell you, both of us just can’t leave well enough alone.

It happened with this trip as well.

don’t hit me, we didn’t cancel anything or drop days, we ADDED a day. Yep, you read that right, we added one more day to the trip

.

You see Bill and I have this horrible pattern of hitting the ground running at Disney and wearing ourselves completely out. We get there, see the video on the Magical Express, hear the music, see the colors and are energized thinking, “nah we don’t need to take a nap or rest LET’S GO TO A PARK!!" Do we go for a little bit then leave? NO, we close the place down after being up since about 3:30am. Then we get up early the next day and never catch up on sleep.

This trip we were coming in on Nov. 30th and going to MVMCP that night with TnT. We actually planned a Christmas party on the arrival day. Then we remembered he is disabled and in more pain lately, and I am, well honestly, I am fat and will be slow we needed to change our touring plans a bit. So now we are coming in on Nov. 29th, going to the Boardwalk for a walk up at Big River Grille and then see how we feel. We hope to finally meet TnT that night, if not we will see them the next day. We will sleep in as late as we want to the next day.

Time for some random stuff, Bill’s parents came for Thanksgiving. We ate out, they came back to the apartment. When I first met Bill, they would come around Thanksgiving and bring his Christmas decorations since he was in a one bedroom and didn’t have a lot of room. After I moved in we moved to another apartment, a two bedroom, but they still take the stuff to store it in Indiana. When they bring it, his Mom goes into Martha Stewart mode and transforms the apartment for the holidays. She said this is the 8th tree she has done so far this year. Ours, two for the vacation home in Tennessee, and 5 at her house

. I will make sure to post pictures of all these, well all of them except the vacation home, we won’t be there this year. They are going for New Years. Here are pictures of our tree:

While his Mom was working her magic, I was the “assistant” handing her the ornaments I have been promoted and got to help a little. Bill’s Dad was working on the wheelchair we are taking to Walt Disney World. He put new front wheels on it and adjusted Bill’s right foot rest. His right ankle bothers him a lot and since his Dad has moved it, he says it feels better

See she tried to Christmasfy the desk too. See Tim "the Toolman" Taylor on Bill's monitor? He and I are in the Disney Movie Club and he got an email from them about 50% off boxed sets. Well, he bought a couple seasons of Home Improvement, what he didn't know was I bought him 3 more, and they all arrived on the same day. He was SO HAPPY!! He really loves this show. Then the Movie Club had free shipping for the 25th and 26th so we bought the rest of the seasons, so now he will have the entire series on DVD. He will be in grunting Heaven .

After we got the D23 membership, I could then get stuff from the “D23 boutique” aka another way to give Disney all my money and I decided to surprise Bill with this, he loved it:

As you can see I am posting this very early Saturday morning. Bill is playing PS3, I am talking to Toni on yahoo

and typing this in Microsoft Word. I am not looking forward to getting up in the morning and dropping Ace off at the boarders. They aren’t open on Sunday so he leaves a day before we do

. Every time I think about leaving him I want to cry, I know they will take good care of him, but I miss him. Bill asked his parents if Ace could come with us when we go there for Christmas, keep your fingers crossed that she says yes. I don’t think I can stand to leave him again.

I am also packing things here and there. I know that makes some of you twitch

at the thought of me not being all packed. Bill likes to wait until the last minute to see the forecast before he picks his clothes out. I understand it because he gets cold very easily, but it is aggravating for the packer in me.

So there you have it, the never ending continuously evolving PTR is finally coming to an end. All you lurkers come out and say hi before I leave, I am paranoid

that I have lost everyone and there won’t be anyone to read a TR.

I've been out of the loop for a little while. I'm sorry I haven't been on here to read like I should! It's not that I haven't been interested in following along. Ok, so with all that being said, let me get this straight.....you and Bill are going for 14 or 15 days??? You two are our hero's!!!!!! You are going to have one heck of a TR to write when you get back.

I love that Christmas decorations in the apartment. It's good that you got bumped up to "helper" this year. I love the one with Ace and his paws crossed. TOO CUTE!!!

The pins you ordered are GREAT!! I love them. I let our D23 membership expire. ....I know....GASP!!! I may or may not get it back again. Not sure yet. I did get some really great "magazines" and shirts, etc. But I didn't really feel that I was "ahead of the game" on anything by joining.

Anyhoo....I am so exicted for your trip. I'm bummed out that once again I will not get to see the Christmas lights. But, being a "responsible adult" (<---I hate that!), I turned DH down for a 2 day trip this week. I knew if we didn't do it that we'd have more money for our cruise this June.

So, one last question.... there are tours for the castle suite now?? I must be really behind on my Disney knowledge!!

Oh we will definitely wear the pins to the D23 event, we might wear them more than that.

Ace crosses his paws all the time, we think it is adorable but we are a little bias.

The Castle Suite tour is part of D23's Magic and Merriment event. There were only 200 tickets. Details about the event are linked on the first page of my PTR .

Wow 14 days at Disney - that is so awesome. I would love to be able to spend that much time there, and over the holiday season also!!!
