Because it just wouldn’t be a party **New 1/17/11 Finally a link to the TR**

I loved taking that trip with you guys down Memory Lane! Babs was awesome... I'm surprised your pix came out so great since you were probably shaking with laughter!

Bill in that green hat... :rotfl2:

Your itinerary rocks!

Kathy

He said he would be videotapping us since he is pretty sure we will be signing "Tale as Old as Time" or "You've Got a Friend in Me" while crying and tripping over small children... :confused3

:lmao: Dear heavens, I nearly spewed my water all over my keyboard! That's one videotape I'd love to see!

I love this update.... those streetmosphere pics are such fun! The green hat and the statue is too funny. We love DHS and always plan two days there. So many details, I always find something I hadn't noticed before. :lovestruc

You may not want to see the video if you are with us!! :lmao:

You are in Epcot the same night as us on the 3rd still right?

Yup - a Les Chefs ressie at 4:50pm but no plans afterwards. My oldest is bringing his video camera too come to think of it. :scratchin I shy away from pictures and video too but man that sounds like fun......

I can't afford to hire a photopass guy to follow us around and since you said you will be stalking us anyways, I thought this would be a perfect solution... :confused3

Oh hey, I haven't told you yet today but, 46 DAYS!!! :cool1::banana::woohoo:

Ok, I might take a picture or two if you make me.

Woo hoo on the 46 days!

Hi Kathy!! That was one of my favorite days ever in WDW, such a fun time. Bill wears that hat well doesn't he?

:lmao: Dear heavens, I nearly spewed my water all over my keyboard! That's one videotape I'd love to see!

I am so happy there are others that love DHS like we do!

Yep she needs to be videoed too if I have to be.

Woo hoo, Toni and I can be drinking in France awaiting your arrival after dinner. :woohoo:

I love the Streetmosphere too! We've never interacted with them quite that much, but LOVE watching it! In December they just had them announcing things - like when the shows were, etc. And in September I don't think we saw any.... I JUST realized that. How could we not see them????? I have no memory relocation of them being there or seeing any skits - we almost always stop at least for a couple minutes. Are they possibly being removed from the park? I sure hope not, they are so fun and unique!

Okay - whew! I just looked at my pictures and did see pics of 2 Streetmosphere acts - I just think they were just ending when we happened upon them or we didn't stop for some reason to enjoy it.

We DID hear Mulch, Sweat and Shears for sure! They are great!

I have read that "some" of the streetmosphere folks were let go but not all. I hope we get to see Babs again, she was hilarious!

The singer from Mulch is hilarious, I love how he works the crowd. Before I knew it he was behind me singing in my ear :rotfl:.

DHS is Bill’s favorite park, mine is Epcot. I love the landscaping, the architecture, the music, just everything. Here is the plan for this day:

December 3, 2010

Park hours/Itinerary:
Epcot 9am – 12:30am
- Close to Rope Drop
- Test Track (possibly), Ellen’s Universe of Energy, Innovations Pavilions, Mousegears
- Tequila bar in Mexico with TnT??? (Bad me :sad2: trying to make booze dates in WDW)
- See some Christmas stuff around the World Showcase

Dining:
- Something in the room
- CS in World Showcase
- Grand Floridian Café 7:25pm (unless some plans take shape with Toni)

Meets:
- TnT, DevonsDisneyMom (Reese +), Mickey_Mom (Tracy +) I think there might be a Birthday
celebrate.gif
Drink Meet because Toni's bday is Dec. 1st, Reese's is the 3rd and mine is the 9th

Activities:
- Hopefully Voices of Liberty, other acts around the World Showcase and Illuminations

Bill and I really want to see all the Holidays around the World stuff. We want to watch all the “Santa’s” tell their stories. We really want to take time this trip to explore the shops etc in the World Showcase.

I love taking pictures at WDW, Bill says I see the parks more through the camera

than just enjoying it. I think for me it is about capturing the beauty, the memories, etc, because every time we go I can’t believe we are actually there.

I hadn’t been feeling well lately and just decided to sleep on the couch one day to get over whatever it was. Come to find out Bill was really busy while I was sleeping. He is HORRIBLE at keeping secrets so he decided to tell me he bought me a new camera for my birthday.

It is a Sony Cybershot DSC-HX5V. 10.2 megapixals with a 10x optical zoom. It has that panoramic sweep option on it too. I have been playing with it and here are some pictures I have taken so far:

We live across the street from a university and I wanted to see how good the zoom was. Here is a picture without the zoom of the clock tower, it is toward the left below the arm sticking out on the satellite:

019-1.jpg

Don’t you just love Bill’s prize possession, the DirecTV HD satellite?? That thing is huge. Anyway, here is the picture with it fully zoomed:

020-2.jpg

Not too shabby?

Now you know I had to follow Ace around with it. He was not too happy, but tolerated me. Here he is at the balcony doors, then playing with Bill on the bed:

Here are some panoramic shots, I need a lot of practice with this, first up, off the balcony:

Newcamerapix1010025.jpg

Then one of the apartment:

Newcamerapix1010001.jpg

Bill is playing Sims 3. We have both been playing it lately, even though I have killed my Sim by an invention setting her on fire and not putting her out in time. I didn’t save that game so she was brought back to life, then I had her playing her guitar in the park for tips and a meteor landed on her and killed her. Again, I didn’t save it. Sims 3 just wants to KILL ME!!

Ok, sorry about that off topic rant. One last picture, was taken with my old camera, but makes me smile. Isn’t it funny how a message board can seep into your everyday life? I took this picture and immediately thought of sweet Jordan, the trip report writer extraordinare:

009-1.jpg

For those of you that have read his reports you will “get it” those of you that haven’t, shame on you, he is hilarious.

Next installment… Can we finally get to another park please

Meets:
- TnT, DevonsDisneyMom (Reese +), Mickey_Mom (Tracy +) I think there might be a Birthday

Drink Meet because Toni's bday is Dec. 1st, Reese's is the 3rd and mine is the 9th

Wow -- A Triple B'Day Whammy! :cool1: Definitely cause for celebrating!

Tracy, you're going to have so much fun with your new camera in Disney! The pictures look fabulous so far... especially that zoom!

I am still learning how to use the camera :rotfl:. I am annoyed that there wasn't a real manual, it is on CD so I can read it on my computer or I can print it out. That just makes me mad that Sony didn't include a real manual I could hold in my hands. I am old school :rotfl2:.

I am thinking that I am dropping that Grand Floridian Cafe, I didn't really want to leave Epcot and I am going to voice that opinion to Mr. Bill.

Looks like great plans for Epcot from drinking to seeing all the decorations and hearing the Santa's talk.

I can't wait to explore the World Showcase more. I am starting to get a little excited :goodvibes.

Sounds like a great Epcot day!! :thumbsup2

Your camera takes great pictures!! The zoomed picture of the clock tower looks like it's right next door.

I was amazed at the zoom, my other camera had a 3x zoom, this is 10. Bill was a sweetie to surprise me like that.

Very nice updates!!! (I'm a couple behind, here...) Sounds like you guys have a lot of fun planned - which is always a good thing!!!

Your camera takes some nice shots. Mine does the panoramic thing, too, but I've never tried it (hiding in shame).

That shot of Ace is just too cute, by the way.

Hi Darla!! I am very pleased with my camera, I hope to have many good shots. I am having fun with the panoramic function.

I hadn't said anything on the boards because I didn't want to jinx it. Bill got a us a D23 membership on Oct. 16th. We decided to try to get tickets for D23's Magic and Merriment event.

Today was the day to try to get tickets. It was a mess last year and I had it in my head we did not have a chance to get tickets. I didn't want to be disappointed.

I hopped online at the designated time and....
