Beauty & the Beast-3d, in theatres Feb 12??

On Disney.com, when searcing up Beauty and the Beast, it says it is coming out in theatres, in 3D, on Feb. 12. However I have not seen any previews, heard any talk or ANYTHING about this?
Does anyone have any further possible info about this?

From the Variety article:

"Beauty and the Beast" had been slated for release Feb. 12, 2010, but the new date coincides with the 20th anniversary of the pic's release, allowing the studio to hype the new version of the film and make it more of an event movie.

Disney already had skedded "Cars 2" to roll into theaters June 2011, so "Beast" is likely to bow during the holidays, when it initially unspooled in 1991.

Disney has just never updated the site. Very annoying. It all changed maybe a couple of months ago. We were totally going to be in the theater on (re)opening night.

This is so disappointing! That's the day before my Birthday. And it's probably my second favorite Disney movie!!

I wish I still had the copy of my VHS since I can't find it anywhere on DVD. Guess I have to wait another year. Poo.

I cant' believe it was 20 years ago! I can still remember seeing it in theatres. It has always been my all time favorite movie. That just makes me feel old. You would think that Disney woudl update their site.

OMG!!! I am sooooo beyond bummed!!!
We've been looking forward to this for a few months! It is my favorite movie of all times...I'm gettin ready to get the rose from the movie tattooed on me..I'm obsessed lol.
Dang, my whole fam was gonna go for the first first showing of it.. so sad now!!!!

Bummer I was getting excited about this as we actually live in a larger metro area where there are 3-D theaters. At least DH and I got to see it on IMAX a couple of times about 7 or 8 years ago.
